League Evaluations
The intent of the league evaluation is to try and ensure that each athlete is placed in a league that represents their current abilities. There are set pre-requisites that an athlete has to meet to be allowed register for each league (Elite League has no evaluation). The pre-requisites are very basic and do not represent a true team tryout. Please keep in mind that these are still basic leagues and teams are formed via the signups and any special requests within each players signup.
We want to make each league as competitive as possible. Please understand that the evaluation is based on an athlete's current abilities and not their potential. After each evaluation the coach will give their recommendation for the league the athlete can register for. Please do not register for a league that was not recommended by one of our coaches.
Once a player has done an evaluation they will not need to be re-evaluated until they move up a league. If a player is currently playing for an NRG coach, that player will not need to attend an evaluation if the coach recommends them for the league.
LEAGUE EVALUATIONS OR RECOMMENDATIONS ARE MANDATORY.
Premier (Division 1)
Pre-Requisites:
4th-6th & 7th-8th grade:
- Must be able to overhand serve from behind the end line.
- Must be able to serve 6 out of 10 inbounds
- Must be able to pass the ball on service receive to a specific target and not over the net
Premier (Division 2)
Pre-Requisites:
4th-6th grade:
- Must be able to overhand serve from behind the 10' line.
- Must be able to serve 6 out of 10 inbounds
- Must be able to pass the ball on service receive forwards, but not over the net
7th-8th grade:
- Must be able to overhand serve from behind the end line.
- Must be able to serve 3 out of 10 inbounds
- Must be able to pass the ball on service receive forwards, but not over the net
